Stimulate Your Mind and Spirit
The Metaphysical Group explores diverse aspects of spirituality, as well as different spiritual traditions, to challenge our thinking and raise consciousness.
We are interactive and freewheeling, actively encouraging questions and comments by participants. It is a safe space to pose deep questions.
The Metaphysical Group is presented by Rev. Russell Heiland (Rev. Russ Biography), as well as guest speakers.
We meet on Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in hybrid fashion (in-person and Zoom).

Keys to Unity
In this 4-part series, Rev. Russell will lead the group in an exploration of Four Key areas of Unity Teaching.
The program is open to all.
For individuals wishing to become voting members of Unity of Fairfax, the program will serve as the New Member class.
Additional information about that will be explained in class.
September 7: One, Two, Three, or More?
How do describe Divinity? Is it captured in the concept of Oneness? Or the Duality of Good and Evil? Or the theological construct of the Trinity? Or more than that? Join us as we investigate the numerous ways of understanding Divinity in light of Unity teaching.
September 14: From Plato to Play-Doh
What do ancient Greek philosophy, affirmative prayer, and "having life and having it abundantly" have in common and why are those connects relevant in Unity? That's what we will explore in this session.
September 21: Run the World (Girls)
Beyonce had a huge hit in 2011 with the song "Run the World (Girls)." In this gathering we will examine the depth and breadth of women's empowerment in Unity teaching and the Unity Movement.
September 28: In the Arena
Peace. It's a universal desire, yet often seems elusive both in our minds and in the world. How can we make peace with the fact that we have to engage in troublesome situations that are rife with conflicting energies? We will confront this topic in this session.
