Unity uses prayer and meditation to remember and align ourselves with divine source, or God.

The Prayer Chaplain Ministry, for example, provides direct in person prayer support to the Unity of Fairfax community.

Silent Unity®
Silent Unity® (Unity Prayer Ministry) is a worldwide prayer ministry that has been in continuous prayer with people of all faiths for more than 120 years. Through times of war, peace, depression, and prosperity, the prayer vigil in Silent Unity’s chapel and the brightly shining beacon atop its cupola have continued uninterrupted.
Silent Unity® Ministry Phone Prayer
Silent Unity provides prayer support 6 a.m. to midnight (CT), 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. (PT), 365 days a year to people of all faiths from around the world.
If you have a prayer request, call Silent Unity at 1-816-969-2000 to have a UWM trained prayer ministry associate pray with you.

Silent Chapel
Every Sunday before and after the 11:00 service, the Chapel (Room 5) is open to everyone as a silent space for prayer or meditation.
Come at any time and stay as long as you want.

Wednesday Prayer Service
A Weekly Prayer & Meditation Service is held every Wednesday from 12:00 to 12:30 pm in person in the sanctuary and on live steam.
Led by a Prayer Chaplain, or the Senior Minister, and the Director of Music and Art, the service includes of prayer affirmations, music, and periods of sacred silence.
Chaplains' Chapel is a prayer and meditation service open to everyone.
We meet in person in the Chapel (Room 5) and via Zoom on Fridays from 12:00 - 12:30 pm.
We begin by centering ourselves in divine essence, then a Prayer Chaplain reads the prayer list and invites participants to add names, concerns, or gratitudes. The prayer chaplain offers a short contemplative reading, and the group sits in sacred silence for 20 minutes.

Pray with a Prayer Chaplain in the sanctuary before and after service each Sunday.
Pray by Phone
You may request one-on-one with a Prayer Chaplain by dialing 703-281-1767 and pressing 9. Leave your name, number, and the best time to reach you, and a Prayer chaplain will return your call.
Holding Sacred Space
Prayer Chaplains hold sacred space during congregational business meetings, and hold Unity of Fairfax in prayer as part of a personal spiritual practice.
