Eastern Bluebirds nest in tree cavities. Opportunities to find nesting cavities have declined over the years. For the past several years, Youth and Family Ministry and EarthCare have worked to nurture Eastern Bluebirds.
EarthCare members learned how to build the boxes in a manner that prevents predators from attacking, as well as allows them to be opened easily for cleaning and monitoring.
