Summer Season of Small Groups

The Life We Are Given

  • Mondays, June 19 to July 31 (7-weeks)
  • 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Conference Room

Based on the book by the same title, this small group will focus on Integral Transformative Practice, a program for transforming the body, mind, heart, and spirit through balanced and comprehensive long-term practice.

 

Exploring the Law of Attraction

  • Wednesdays, June 28 to July 26 (5-weeks)
  • 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary

The Law of Attraction appears to be a simple concept but when studied, it becomes profound in how we think and live our lives. Using videos and discussions, the group will explore topics using the Law of Attraction.

 

Infinite Possibilities:  The Art of Living Your Dreams

The purpose of this group is to reinvigorate participants' beliefs in life's fundamental truths:  that life is magical; we are powerful; and dreams really do come true. Throughts do becomes things.

From Age-ing to Sage-ing

Structured around a DVD-series developed by SpiritGroups, this group is based on Rev. Ellen Debenport's book by the same name. Strongly recommended for new members looking to learn and deepen their understanding of Unity principles.

Unity Awakening Fall Small Groups Series

The I of the Storm

October 1 to November 12, 2017

Our Fall Spirit Group series will discuss the book The I of the Storm: Embracing Conflict, Creating Peace by Gary Simmons.

The five disciplines:

  1. communion
  2. connection
  3. compassion
  4. community
  5. challenge

By using the five disciplines in the groups, people will have the opportunity to grow in their spiritual practice and engage with each other in a deep, meaningful way.

Rev. Russell will use the book as the inspiration for Sunday talks.
