Every decision regarding the pandemic has been tough for us. And we try to be agile adjusting our guidelines. The CDC has announced a change in emphasis from prevention to treatment. The color code for Fairfax County is GREEN which means low risk. Taking everything into account, I am announcing a change in Unity of Fairfax protocols.
- The requirement for vaccination is no longer required for in-person services and events.
- The only exception is the choir and the Audiovisual team (PowerPoints and sound board) where folks work in very close proximity.
We look forward to having everybody back in the building. Including the little ones. Masking is optional except in the case of singing where the requirement remains in place. Members in high risk groups may wear a red bracelet to indicate no contact please. Thanks to everyone as we navigate through the COVID pandemic. Lastly, the facts of the pandemic may change again. We remain alert. We wish vibrant life to everyone here and on the planet.
