Marangely has worked as an editor for Spanish media in the United States. She has been columnist for important Spanish newspapers such as El Tiempo Latino, DC and La Prensa and La Opinión, CA, and The New York Times Spanish publication, Currently, she works as a Spanish teacher in a private school in Northern Virginia.

Marangely holds a Masters degree in Investigative Journalism in Spanish from Florida International University and a dual bachelors in arts and science, with a major in Theater and Public Communication and a minor in Spanish Literature and Education from the University of Puerto Rico.

She joined Unity of Fairfax in 2018 and has volunteered with different ministries and groups including: the Marketing Team, Comunidad Hispana and as Platform Assistant and reader of La Palabra Diaria. This is her third year on the Board of Trustees.

Her commitment is to support Unity of Fairfax with her talents as an instrument for educating, healing and growth, by promoting the spiritual community of Unity of Fairfax.

Marangely was born and raised on “The Enchanted Island” of Puerto Rico and currently resides in Loudoun County. She is a proud mother of a talented daughter and loves to be surrounded by nature; kayaking, hiking and taking long walks on the beach shore.
