Celebrations! Board News for March

Thank you to all who attended the Community Dialogue Meeting on 2/2/20 to gather information about our current state and what is coming up. Your input, feedback, and confirmation is important!

So much to celebrate: exciting progress, heroic tithing of talent, and preparation for new experiences and possibilities.

  • Celebrating our new sign that passed permit requirements! Many thanks to those who dedicated so much to make this happen!

  • Celebrating our financial team that created a new chart of accounts offering updated clarity of Church finances.

  • Celebrating the Caber(n)et artists and volunteers who put on a fun event!

  • Celebrating the ongoing partnership and work of the Vision 2020 teams who have:

    • developed great strategies for inexpensive mobile technology

    • purchased TVs for classrooms

    • built an integrated retrofit project plan for the Lipstick phase

    • received approval from Board for classroom space allocation plan

    • developed classroom plans for equipment, furniture, carpet, etc.

    • worked to procure weekday & event rentals to replace Pinnacle income

  • Celebrating our staff and volunteers engaged in the Chapstick® phase—cleaning and painting classrooms for use until we start the retrofit.

  • Celebrating our prosperity that will support Rev. Russell in a much-deserved Sabbatical from August – October 2020 after 7 years of service.

Thank you for contributing your Self, your enthusiasm, your insight, your very being as a part of this vibrant spiritual community working together to awaken each life to the Christ within.
