Join us on March 28, 2021 for the Unity Virtual “Spring Fling” 5K/1K Run, Walk, and Roll.
You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time yourself. You can run alone or with a small group of family/friends.
In the Unity Virtual “Spring Fling” 5K/1K Run, Walk, and Roll event, everyone is a winner. T-shirts are included with your registration, and will be available for pick-up for local participants or mailed to you if you are out of the area.

How does this work?
Register to attend this event. Registration will continue through the end of March 28, 2021.
Join us via ZOOM Sunday January 10, February 7, March 7, and March 21, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. for training tips, questions, instructions, and encouragement. You will make new connections and learn helpful ideas.
A special ZOOM call is planned for the event day March 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., including a warm-up for participants at that same link.

Visit the Facebook Group to join the community, share your pictures, share your training, and more! The group will include training tips, which apps to use (and how to use them), how to map out your route, community, support, encouragement, equipment tips and tricks, live videos and zoom chats, and contests (and prizes!) for the training process and day-of event! How much does it cost?
All distances are:
- $25 per person (register by January 3, 2021 to get $5 off!)
- $10 for children under 12
Register by Friday March 12, 2021 to make sure your t-shirt arrives in time to wear during the 5K/1K!

Who is eligible to participate?
Anyone and everyone. Adults, kids, pets. All ages and ability levels. It’s an untimed virtual run for the general participants. (A timed run option is also available.)
We will provide instructions for mapping your route, training tips, and training apps to use—even if you’ve never run before.
Who is the fundraiser for?
This virtual race is about you having a great experience and raising money for a great cause by helping people in crisis. In addition to supporting your own personal well-being, your registration will also be supporting Fairfax County Neighborhood and Family Resource Centers, and Britepaths meal and housing programs helping local families in great need during the pandemic.
