Here is what’s coming up for the next months with each presenter’s topic.

  • August 9 – Rev. Patricia T. Bass, Unity Worldwide Ministries Interim CEO, Smooth Sailing on Rough Waters. Challenges. Hard times. Rough waters.  Whatever you call them, they can knock you off course and make you forget everything you thought you knew about a loving Universe.  Patricia will share five powerful questions to help you consciously navigate your way through the rough waters of life.  These questions will restore your faith and move you into action.  You will remember who you are and whose you are and be empowered to take inspired action.  To learn more about Patricia, see her bio at
  • August 16 and 23 – Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett, VP of Silent Unity. Praying Without Talking to God. Deepen your understanding of Unity’s core message of Oneness in prayer, in language, and in practice. Realize, through prayer, your spiritual capacities by which you can respond powerfully to life’s circumstances and intentions. No formulas. No formality. Just real Divine. Your learning more about how to BE the answer to your prayers. Linda Martella-Whitsett is an inspiring, respected author of 2 books (including Divine Audacity), Unity minister, and spiritual teacher. Her books are recommended reading in Unity’s spiritual education coursework (SEE). Linda is now serving as Vice President of Unity Prayer and Practice Division including Silent Unity, Unity’s 24/7 worldwide prayer ministry. Find out more at
  • August 30 – Rev. Diane Venzera, E-Learning Technologist and YFM Coordinator for UWM.  Rev. Venzera will discuss spiritual E-Learning.
  • September 6 - Labor Day holiday. No program.
  • September 13 -  Phil Goldberg is the author or co-author of numerous books exploring the intersection of Eastern and Western philosophy, and contemporary religion. He is a public speaker and workshop leader, a spiritual counselor, meditation teacher and ordained interfaith minister.   • September 20  - Rev. Sherrie Quander spent five years as a Senior Minister at Center for Spiritual Living-Mobile in Mobile, Alabama. She spent thirty years in the entertainment business in Los Angeles as a corporate human resource director and consultant, sit-com producer, actress, and singer. She owns the Indelible Grace Company where she provides human resource consulting, coaching, and employee enrichment workshops. Rev. Sherrie has the honor of being a member of the oldest African American family on record in the United states.
  • September 27 - Aimee Shapiro, JD, LCSW; trauma therapist at the VA in Los Angeles; Certified practitioner and teacher in Religious Science.
