The choir brings beautiful music to our services, every second and fourth Sunday at the 11:00 service and Carole would love new choir members. The only requirement is that you love to sing! The choir rehearses Thursday evenings at 7:45 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Day , our 9-piece praise band, plays the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month at 11:00. Soloists, instrumentalists and guest artists
provide the music for the 9:00 contemplative services.

Unity Connections is back with new team leaders of Deidre and Dave Richardson. They have lots of ideas and are beginning to plan events for 2008. If any of you have ideas or want to lead an event, please contact them at 703 262-0930.

The communications team publishes the newsletter, coordinates special mailings, and helps promote events.

This team hosts the Fellowship on Sunday mornings after services. They are also asked on occasion to provide refreshments for special meetings and events.

Members of the Pastoral Ministry provide spiritual and emotional support from members of the congregation via cards, phone calls and visitation.

The prayer Ministry upholds in daily prayer the overall Ministry of Unity of Fairfax. The prayer team also conducts the Wednesday evening prayer services.

The retreat team creates and supports opportunities "to go apart for a while." At least three weekends a year are planned for spiritual renewal. Periodically, they offer group attendance at selected Unity Village retreats.

This most important team helps create a smooth running service, where everyone feels Welcome. Volunteers greet congregants with bulletins, show congregants to seats when necessary and take a love offerings.

The Youth Education Ministry provides support for teachers of our Youth Education Department, including the nursery, pre-school, elementary school age, UniTeens and Y.O.U.

Team members work in the bookstore on Sundays before and after services to help customers find and purchased items. The bookstore is also opened Tuesday evenings. Volunteers also help with periodic inventory taking. Visit the Bookstore now.
