The deadline for registration is fast approaching - March 21st. Attendees and facilitators are coming in from up and down the Eastern seaboard - Maine to Florida. Two of our facilitators are flying in from California and Wisconsin. We have granted our first student scholarship - thank you to all who contributed to make this possible. In addition, we still have scholarship openings. We have opened the scholarship window to special circumstances as well as students. If you think you qualify and are drawn to this work, please contact us
ENLIGHTENED LEADERS PROGRAM – December 3rd was our 1st Webinar in this educational series that is part of our Transformation Experience Pilot program. Webinar handout materials from the event are available on the Association of Unity Church’s special web site for the Transformation Experience. Those interested and involved in this program are encouraged to review these materials, read Doug Krug’s ‘Bonus Chapters’ on Enlightened Leadership, and begin the practice exercises provided. http://www.teinteractive.org/handouts

EASTER SERVICES – Join us Good Friday, April 2nd at 7pm for a Unity communion service. Also, Rev. Donna will be participating in a three hour Good Friday service sponsored by Oakton United Methodist Church. Come for the full three hours and hear a variety of local ministers or hear Rev. Donna speak at 2pm on the subject of dying. On Easter morning, join Rev. Sandy on the front steps at 6:30am for a sunrise service.
PRAYER & MEDITATION CLASS – Nancy Star, LUT, Monday evenings, April 5-May 3rd, 7-9 pm in the sanctuary. Different presenters will offer an experiential format for learning a variety of methods. SEE credit available. Love offering.
The Mystical Arts of Tibet - The Buddhist Monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery will be here Sunday, April 11th at 3:00pm. The monks are based out Atlanta, GA, the North American seat of the monastery in exile in India, and are endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama as a means of promoting world peace and healing through the sacred performing and visual arts. The ceremony involves chants, traditional musical instruments, and various offerings of light, food and flowers. Please bring personal offerings of cakes, cookies, fruits and flowers for the ceremony, which will be shared with others after the monks bless them. A love offering will be taken for support of the monastery.
Tables of 8 - Back by popular demand, we are now forming Tables of 8 pot luck dinners for March and April. This is a fun way to meet new people and have a wonderful evening with others from Unity of Fairfax. The host provides the location and the main dish and the guests provide the other dishes. Sign up now in the atrium or contact Gaile Argiro at gaileargiro@comcast.net or call 703 931-1451.

Transformational Experience Workshop – Our second weekend workshop in the Transformational Experience Pilot Program will be March 19th, 7-9:30, and Saturday, March 20, 9-4:30 facilitated by our consultant guide Lin O’Neill. We will be charting our genogram – a social and psychological history of Unity of Fairfax.
MEMBERSHIP ORIENTATION – Sunday, March 14th, 12:30-2:00 with Rev. Donna in the sanctuary. Learn the history of Unity, the history of Unity of Fairfax, and review pertinent information in the by-laws. This workshop is a requirement for membership. All are welcome.

Study the works of prominent Unity writers as well as specific metaphysical and theological viewpoints. Join Rev. Sandy for this exciting class Wednesdays, March 3-31, 7-9pm. in the sanctuary. Love offering basis.
UNITY BASICS – Held between services at 10:10 - 10:45. Information will be covered on one Principle a week. Any one is welcome. Attending all 5 classes of the Unity Basic Principles is a requirement for membership. Facilitated by licensed teachers Kitty Crawford and Nancy Star. Unity Basics will not be held between services on either Palm Sunday, March 28th or on Easter, April 4th.

Study the works of prominent Unity writers as well as specific metaphysical and theological viewpoints. Join Rev. Sandy for this exciting class Wednesdays, March 3-31, 7-9pm. in the sanctuary. UNITY BASICS – Held between services at 10:10 - 10:45. Information will be covered on one Principle a week. Any one is welcome. Attending all 5 classes of the Unity Basic Principles is a requirement for membership. Facilitated by licensed teachers Kitty Crawford and Nancy Star. Unity Basics will not be held between services on either Palm Sunday, March 28th or on Easter, April 4th.
2ND TIER CIRCLE – Sundays between services, 10:10-10:50 a.m. in classroom 5. For the next several weeks, we compare BePeace and the wisdom of the Tao Te Ching. Love-offering basis. Facilitator: Steve Marcom.

The deadline for registration is fast approaching - March 21st. Attendees and facilitators are coming in from up and down the Eastern seaboard - Maine to Florida. Two of our facilitators are flying in from California and Wisconsin. We have granted our first student scholarship - thank you to all who contributed to make this possible. In addition, we still have scholarship openings. We have opened the scholarship window to special circumstances as well as students. ENLIGHTENED LEADERS PROGRAM – December 3rd was our 1st Webinar in this educational series that is part of our Transformation Experience Pilot program. Webinar handout materials from the event are available on the Association of Unity Church’s special web site for the Transformation Experience. Those interested and involved in this program are encouraged to review these materials, read Doug Krug’s ‘Bonus Chapters’ on Enlightened Leadership, and begin the practice exercises provided. http://www.teinteractive.org/handouts

EASTER SERVICES – Join us Good Friday, April 2nd at 7pm for a Unity communion service. Also, Rev. Donna will be participating in a three hour Good Friday service sponsored by Oakton United Methodist Church. Come for the full three hours and hear a variety of local ministers or hear Rev. Donna speak at 2pm on the subject of dying. On Easter morning, join Rev. Sandy on the front steps at 6:30am for a sunrise service.
PRAYER & MEDITATION CLASS – Nancy Star, LUT, Monday evenings, April 5-May 3rd, 7-9 pm in the sanctuary. Different presenters will offer an experiential format for learning a variety of methods. SEE credit available. Love offering.
The Mystical Arts of Tibet - The Buddhist Monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery will be here Sunday, April 11th at 3:00pm. The monks are based out Atlanta, GA, the North American seat of the monastery in exile in India, and are endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama as a means of promoting world peace and healing through the sacred performing and visual arts. The ceremony involves chants, traditional musical instruments, and various offerings of light, food and flowers. Please bring personal offerings of cakes, cookies, fruits and flowers for the ceremony, which will be shared with others after the monks bless them. A love offering will be taken for support of the monastery.
Tables of 8 - Back by popular demand, we are now forming Tables of 8 pot luck dinners for March and April. This is a fun way to meet new people and have a wonderful evening with others from Unity of Fairfax. The host provides the location and the main dish and the guests provide the other dishes. Transformational Experience Workshop – Our second weekend workshop in the Transformational Experience Pilot Program will be March 19th, 7-9:30, and Saturday, March 20, 9-4:30 facilitated by our consultant guide Lin O’Neill. We will be charting our genogram – a social and psychological history of Unity of Fairfax.
