What's new at Unity of Fairfax in 2013

Announcing the newly formed "LGBT and Friends" Group

     The first meeting to form an LGBT and Friends group at Unity of Fairfax was held after service on Sunday, 27 April 2013 in the conference room.  Sixteen people attended, and a roster was prepared with 20 names on it so far.  Lynn Canzano arranged and facilitated the meeting.  Many ideas were discussed regarding ways to increase awareness and support of LGBT within the congregation as well as in the larger community. 

The first social get-together is Sunday, May 19, 12:45 PM.  We will meet for lunch at Amphora Restaurant in Vienna for food, fun, and for planning upcoming activities, such as supporting the DC Pride Parade on June 8.
